Editorial Note and AcknowledgmentsThe JTI e-text is based on Horoki (Tokyo: Shinchosha, 1947). The copy-text is reproduced without change; errors in the copy-text are not emended in this e-text. Kanji in the copy-text that are unavailable in the JIS code table are replaced by modern versions of the kanji, in which case the modern kanji are displayed in green. The copy-text has circles and dots beside some letters for emphasis. We marked these letters as bold in our e-text. The text of Horoki was input, proofread, and tagged by Aya Kuramoto.
