Search the full text of the collection. Texts are in Japanese; titles and author names can also be searched in romanized form. Put a phrase in quotes for an exact match.

Narrow a search with the menus below, or by typing a field and a value in the search box: author:akutagawa 蜘蛛, title:"kumo no ito", genre:poetry period:heian 月, century:10, language:english, type:text. A field on its own lists everything that matches it. Fields: title, author, period (or era), century, genre, language, type (a text, a page about a work, an essay, or a site page); the Japanese names (著者, 作品名, 時代, …) work too.
